He was predeceased by: his father Walter S. Stopa; and his brother Thomas Stopa. He is survived by: his mother Lynn Stopa of Chicopee; his children, Lisa (Tom Sebastyn) of Southwick, Michael Stopa of Chicopee, Nathan Stopa of Chicopee and Nicholas "Nick" Stopa of Chicopee; his siblings, Ronald Stopa of Chicopee and Carol (Rob Kosiorek) of Harwich; and his grandchildren, Jack, Scarlett Sebastyn and Michael Stopa.
