It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Philip Retelle of Andover, Massachusetts, born in Lawrence, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 16, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Albert J. Retelle and Alice G. Retelle (Kayley); his wife Helen M. Retelle (Glover); his children, Kim (Jon Glesmann) of Andover, Cindy (Doug Girard) of Kingston, NH, Kevin Retelle (Jola) of Andover and Philip J. Retelle (Cathy S. Wenzel) of Elkton, VA; his grandchildren, Chelsea, Ryan Girard, Kurt, Nicole Glesmann, Jillian and Justin Wenzel; his sister Margie Maginnis; and his close friend Carolinda Campbell. He was also cherished by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
Phil enjoyed an extensive range of music and was a smooth, charismatic dancer, continuing to dance several nights a week until the Covid shutdown last year.
