He was predeceased by: his wife Maxine Faulkner (Lovell); and his sister Nancy Dupuis. He is survived by: his children, Burton F. Faulkner III of Somerville, Sherry Faulkner Ciardi of Winchester and Jennifer Faulkner (Scott Busnach) of Reading; and his grandchildren, Estelle, Liza, Ryann, Sydney, Scott and Arianna.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Burts memory to the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
