She was predeceased by: her parents, Caroline Mavrelis and Henry Cook. She is survived by: her children, Eric and Lisa Melamed.

“Rest in peace Catherine. I delivered meals to Catherine in Arlington, as a Meals on Wheels driver. Though I did not know Catherine long, I developed a soft spot for her from our first meeting. She was A very nice person who was very ill, but had a positive attitude. I always enjoyed seeing her. I will miss her. She touched my life. Thanks Catherine. May she live with Jesus now, until the end of time. Joe DeFelice.”
