She was predeceased by : her spouse Dinesh C. Patel; her parents, Vallavbhai Talsibhai Patel and Shantaben Vallavbhai Patel; and her siblings, Ramanbhai V Patel (R. V. Patel), Thakorbhai Patel and Arvindbhai Patel.

She is survived by : her children, Ulupi Patel (Rajnikant) of Attleboro, MA, Punit Patel (Reena) of Easton, MA and Hemal Patel (Apeksha) of Dallas, TX.; her grandchildren, Harsh, Nidhi, Annika, Kaya and Niah; and her siblings, Bhartiben Patel (South Carolina) and Kalpanaben Patel (Rhode Island). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, her extended family, and many dear friends.
