He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd E. Muir and Betty L. Muir (Rockwell). He is survived by: his daughter Heather Marie Muir of Georgia; his sister Cheryl A. Cekanavich; his sibling's children, Richard Cekanawich and Sarah Paff; and his great-niece Cassandra Paff.
