He was predeceased by: his siblings, Vitte Atkocius and Helen Lorentzen; and his parents, Charles Atkocius and Helen Atkocius (Reyekas). He is survived by: his wife Rita C. Atkocius (Markunas); his brother Donald of Rockville, MD.; his children, Albert Atkocius Jr. (Linda) of Auburn and Laura Atkocius of Richmond, VA; his granddaughters, Suzanne (Brian) of Ashland, MA, Amy (Ken) of Brussels, Belgium, Christina (James) of Richmond, VA and Sarah (Donovan) of Creede, CO; and his great grandchildren, Emily and Hannah.
