He was predeceased by: his parents, Reginald A. Fant and Maria J. Fant (Hellstrom); his wife Doris M. (Rockwood); his brother Carl Fant; his sister-in-law Charlotte Fant; his brother Alden Fant; and his brother-in-law Howard Elander.
He is survived by: his siblings, Evelyn Elander of Greenville, ME and Allan Fant (Donna) of Sutton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children.
