She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Lon E. McDermott; her parents, John Rooney and Lucille Rooney (Peloquin); her children, Derek R. McDermott (Kimberly) of Auburn and Caitlin R. McDermott (Christopher Stoppiello) of Hopkinton; her granddaughter Kelley Anne McDermott of Auburn; and her sisters, Marybeth Looney (Tim) of Auburn and Shawna R. Tibbetts (Paul) of Auburn. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews, many great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Colleen's name may be made to the American Heart Association.
