He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Bertel and Mary Bertel. He is survived by: his children, Edward W. Bertel of Florida, Marlene Dodge of Holden, Darlene Skog of Worcester and Charlene Lyne of Worcester; his grandchildren, Ryan Dodge, Erica Dodge, Lori Annis and Brittney Lyne; and his great grandchildren, Emily Dodge, Jack Dodge, Ayden Hortance, Declan Annis and Madison Annis. He is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
