She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Harold I. Carlson; her daughter Sheila S. Houle (George) of Oxford; her grandchildren, Benjamin Houle (Sheri), Jeffrey Houle (Rebecca) and Renee Pelletier (Matthew); her great grandchildren, Adam, Megan, Sadie, Paige, Wyatt and Finn; her son Detlef Carlson; her brother Rudy Kortuem; and her parents, Willi Franz and Martha Anna Bertha Kortuem (Almendinger). She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
