She was predeceased by: her husband Donald R. Downer; her sisters, Doris D'Errico and Pauline Rubin; and her parents, George W. Downer and Rosanna V. Downer (Kenneway).
She is survived by: her children, Robert of Auburn, Stephen of Auburn, Thomas Downer of Auburn and Catherine Vandell (Joseph Belloli) of Framingham; her grandchildren, Allison, Ashley Downer and Shawn Vandell; and her sister Anita Chartier of North Kingston, RI. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
