He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Walne and Mary Walne (Lapinskas); his brothers, Charles Lapinskas and Donald Walne; and his close friend Shirley Flynn.
He is survived by: his uncle Joe; his sibling's children, Caryl A. Walne of Oxford and Peter J. Walne (Anna) of Oxford; and his great-nephews, Philip Walne of Maryland and Christopher Walne of Oxford.
