He was predeceased by: his parent Leonid C. Courcy, Sr.. He is survived by: his parent Hedwig M. Courcy (Czajkowski); his sister Patricia A. Coates (Courcy); his sibling's children, James M. Coates (Shannon) of Leesburg, Kristen Lash (Timothy) of Aldi, Deanna Coates of Fairfax, Sophie, Audrey and Oliver; and his aunt Antoinette Laukaitis of Auburn.
