He is survived by: his brother Clark University; his wife Elizabeth Getchell O'Brien; his children, Conor O'Brien of East Falmouth, MA, Tierney O'Brien of Webster, MA and Katie O'Brien of Jacksonville, FL.; his siblings, Christopher O'Brien of Hingham, MA, David O'Brien (Valerie) of Portland, OR, Elaine O'Brien Tinlin of East Falmouth, MA and George O'Brien (Jane) of Marlboro; his nephews, Patrick O'Brien, James O'Brien and Sean O'Brien; and his uncle Maurice McCarthy (Barbara).
