He is survived by : his wife Tricia; his children, Danielle Sabourin (Rob) of Northbridge, Lauren Fraine and Erin Fraine of Bellingham; and his siblings, David (Roberta) of Florida, John (Rose) of Washington, Joseph (Diane) of West Roxbury, Denis (Tess) of Bellingham, Dan of Reading, Beth (Rich) of Walpole, Pat (Deb) of Mattapoisett and Chris (Jessica) of New Bedford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (131 Main St, Franklin, MA 02038). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. Blaise Church (1158 S Main St, Bellingham, MA 02019).

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Ed Fraine to Tufts Medical Center in support of Neuro-Oncology Research.
