George Racine Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Racine (Bellingham, Massachusetts), born in Woonsocket, Rhode Island, who passed away on April 20, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fernand Racine and Theresa M. Racine (Cote). He is survived by: his wife Elaine M. Racine (Fagan); his children, Kevin Racine (Deborah) of Haverhill, MA, Ellen Mercer (James) of Millville, MA and Paula Reis (Luis) of Franklin, MA; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher (Tyler Racine), Meghan Mainella (Christian), Brian (Hannah Mercer), Samuel and Daniel (Natalie Reis); his great grandchild Jameson Mainella; his siblings, Estelle Legare (Omer) of North Smithfield, RI and Roland Racine of Providence, RI; his nephews, James and Paul Legare; and his siblings-in-law, Linda and Peter Casey. He is also survived by his grandchildren & great grandchildren.
In accordance with the COVID-19 restrictions on social gatherings a Private Graveside Committal Service, with Military Honors, will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery in Franklin MA.
In lieu of flowers the family highly encourages memorial donations be made to The Bellingham Food Pantry @ St. Blaise Church, 1158 South Main Street, Bellingham MA 02019 or to the Bellingham Senior Center, 40 Blackstone Street, Bellingham MA 02019.
