She was predeceased by: her parents, Giovanni Cotoia and Maria Cotoia (DiSario); her daughter Lorna Mitchell; her former husband Donald F. Mitchell; her siblings, Rudolf Cotoia, Peter Cotoia, Angelina Cotoia St. Cyr, Eleanor Cotoia St. Pierre and Teresa Cotoia; and her grandson Matthew Murphy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Robin Delaney (Joseph DiGrazia), Kim Costas (Joe Landyn), Sherry Murphy and Jennifer Mitchell (John "Burk" Daggett); her brother Mario Cotoia (Maureen); her sister-in-law Joanna Cotoia; her grandchildren, Orest Manzi (Lia), Mitchell Delaney, Brendan Delaney (Melissa), Alex Costas (Megan Helfrich), Danielle Costas, Rachel Murphy (Joey Panariello), Patrick Murphy, Kyle Braude (Katie) and Whitney Owens (Matt); and her great grandchildren, Hayden Owens, Liam Owens, Olivia Manzi, Zoe Manzi, Wilder Costas Splaine, Atlas Costas Splaine, Koa Costas, Parker Delaney, Seamus Murphy and Quinn Murphy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Campbell Funeral Home (525 Cabot St, Beverly, MA 01915). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Second Congregational Church (35 Conant St, Beverly, MA 01915). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 5th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the North Beverly Cemetery (685 Cabot St, Beverly, MA 01915).
