He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Porter and Elizabeth Porter (Watts). He is survived by: his sister Ruth Landry of Ocean Park; his children, Elizabeth Burgess, Robyn Adams, Conal and Jim; and his grandchildren, Conal Burgess, Violet Burgess, Owen Adams and Brendan Adams. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
