It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ardis Porter (Braintree, Massachusetts), who passed away on October 22, 2021, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Fratus and Hilda Fratus; and her former husband Edwin Thayer MacBride Jr. (Richard Porter). She is survived by: her sister Kaye "Billie" Mitchell; and her children, Robin MacBride, Lisa MacBride (Kevin Mullavey), Thais Halloran (Shep), Heather MacBride, Ned MacBride (Jody) and Wes MacBride (Robin Harkin). She is also survived by nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be sent to the Perkins School for the Blind. 175 North Beacon Street, Watertown MA 02472.
