She was predeceased by: her parents, John Galvin and Elizabeth Galvin (Phalen); her brother Robert; and her close friend Annmarie Troy. She is survived by: her siblings, James, Beverly Buck, Elizabeth O'Connell, Judith Murphy, Edna May, Jack Galvin of Akeley, MN, Joyce O'Donnell of Fredericksburg, VA, Betsy Byrd of Goshen, Alberta and Unknown; her children, John Wayne Hughbanks (FL), Rosemary Kelley of Braintree, MA, Arleen Hitchcock, Josephine Aguiar, Joseph, Kathy Butler of Bellingham, MA, Elizabeth and Ray Boucher of Phoenix, AZ; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Melanie, Shannon, Dylan, Natalie, Nycole, Peter, Taylor, Tommy, Skye, Joseph Jr., Christoper, Danielle, John Jr., Jason and Katie; her great grandchild Cherubs; her children, Phillip (FL), LeAnn of Waltham, MA, Susanne and Robert Burns; and her great grandchildren, Ryan, Nate, Leo, Jeremiah and JoJo.
Barbara survived a lot in her lifetime including polio as a child, lung cancer later in life, many near-death experiences, and a battle with Covid-19.
