He was predeceased by: his child Baby John; and his sibling Nancy Dungan. He is survived by: his spouse Janet Barnard (Hobin) of Braintree; his children, Kim Francis (Joe), Donald M. Barnard, Jr. of Braintree, David Barnard (Zoila) of Quincy, Janine Barnard (Florentino Gonzalez) of Quincy, Jennifer Barnard of Quincy and Mary Ellen Barnard; his siblings, Jean Moore of Falmouth and Cherished; and his children, Allyson, Mauquez, Rebecca, Kalene, Jayden and Aliyah. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
