It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gertrude Blake of Braintree, Massachusetts, born in Clonbur, Connaught, who passed away on March 14, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Paul V. Blake Sr.; her son Paul V. Blake Jr.; and her parents, Martin Holleran and Bridie Holleran of Galway. She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Couite (Paul) of West Bridgewater, Thomas Blake (Maryanne) of Norwell, Theresa Graven (James) of Durango, CO and Erin Connolly (Peter) of Braintree; her siblings, Bridget Jeveli, William, Patrick Holleran, Mary (Dick Gibbons), John Jo (Mary Holleran), Laura De Monet and Thomas (Margaret Holleran); her sister-in-law Teresa Holleran; and her friend Ireland. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren.
Visitation for friends and family, following COVID guidelines, will be held on Wednesday, March 17, 2021 from 4-8 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 30 Central St. (off Rt 123, near State Police Barracks), Norwell Center, MA.
