He was predeceased by:, Michelle Mattie (Jeffrey Sealander) of East Hampton and Brian A. Mattie. He is survived by: his children, Lisa Cataldo of Braintree and James F. Jay Mattie, III; his wife Susan of Foxboro; his grandchildren, Dominic, Angela, Christopher, Jillian and Alexander; his brothers, Richard Mattie and Robert Mattie; and also Centerville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
