With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Galvin (Braintree, Massachusetts), born in Somerville, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 8, 2019 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Marian Galvin, Ipswich, John Galvin of Winchester, William Galvin of Hingham and Kevin Galvin of Somerville; his brother-in-law Joseph Mahoney of Hingham; and his parents, Patrick and Lilian Galvin (Murray) of Somerville.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Galvin (Cribben); his children, Beth Rea (Michael) of Braintree and Dennis Galvin (Samantha) of Hanover; his grandchildren, Amelia, Leo, Ellie Kate, Maggie and Annabel; his siblings, Gerald Galvin (Laurel) of Yarmouthport and Marilyn Saunders (late Richard) of Woburn; and his sisters-in-law, Joanne Galvin of Winchester, Denise Galvin of Hull and Ann Mahoney of Hingham. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
