She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Walter Packard and Laura Packard; her husband Phillip Hirtle; her daughters, Beverly Hirtle of New York City, Karen Hirtle of Seville, Spain (Enrique Rodriguez Palacios) and Phyllis Hirtle of Weymouth; her grandchildren, Alejandro Rodriguez Hirtle, Andrea Rodriguez Hirtle of Seville, Spain, Emily Hirtle and Andrew Hirtle of New York City; and her siblings, Nancy Crowley (Packard), Walter Packard and Wallace Packard.
