He was predeceased by: his wife Joan M. Woods (McDonough); his granddaughter Kerri Doucette; and his parents, Alfred Woods and Jesse Woods (Cowlan). He is survived by: his children, Donna Woods Doucette (James Donovan) of Braintree, Stephen Woods (Patti Palaza), Diane Woods (Tommy O'Connor) of Braintree, John C. Woods, Jr., Debra Richardi (John) of Braintree and Michael Woods (Hilaire) of Braintree; his children-in-law, Nancy Woods of Braintree and Kim Woods; his sister-in-law Kate McDonough of Braintree; his grandchildren, Danielle, Derek, Ryan, Sean, Stephanie, Kailey, Camryn, Anthony, Cody, Jack and Max Woods; his great grandchild Cristian; and his siblings, Alfred, George Woods, Thelma Chambless and Eleanor Gillis. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
