It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John E. Lane (Braintree, Massachusetts), born in Boston, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 9, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Tellier Lane (Cannon); his children, John Lane of Raleigh, NC, Kathryn Brereton of Falmouth, David Lane of Franklin, Matthew Lane of Halifax, Karyn Thompson and Bridgewater; his stepchildren, Laura Savage of Braintree and John Tellier of Braintree; and his siblings, William Lane of Duluth, GA, Mary Foley of Quincy and Judith Lane of Hingham. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
