She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund O'Brien and Helen O'Brien (Smiddy); and her sister Margaret O'Brien (Peggy). She is survived by: her siblings, Maureen O'Brien and Kevin O'Brien (Donna); her children, Walter (Christine Pagel), Brian (Lisa Pagel), Jennifer (Sean O'Malley) and Erin (Tom Carey); and her grandchildren, Nicole Pagel, Amanda Pagel, Lindsey Routson, Ronan O'Malley, Julia O'Malley, Kathleen Carey and Thomas Carey. She is also survived by friends and extended family.
