She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Geswell and Mary Geswell (O'Brien); and her brother Walter Geswell. She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jennifer Pierce, Massport Firefighter, Martin E. "Marty" Pierce III (Nicole), Elizabeth Wosny (Boston Police Sergeant), Lisa Mangone (Joseph) and Michelle Pierce; her great grandchildren, Maria of Marty, IV, Nolan, Joseph, John, Ella, Sarah, Caroline and Mat; and her siblings, John Geswell, Ann Twohig and Rita Carlson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
