It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael F. Connelly (Braintree, Massachusetts), who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Michael departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Michael leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Connelly and Dorothy Connelly (McLaughlin) of Braintree. He is survived by: his wife Jo-Anne Connelly (Lynch) of Weymouth; his sons, Michael J. Connelly of West Roxbury and David F. Connelly of Weymouth; and his siblings, Cheryl Wozniak of Ft. Myers, FL, Deborah Hall of Myrtle Beach, SC, Frederick Connelly (Lisa) of Weymouth and Diane Miller.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cartwright-Venuti Funeral Home (845 Washington St, Braintree, MA 02184). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Francis of Assisi Church (856 Washington St, Braintree, MA 02184).
