She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Lasquade and Helen Guerrin Lasquade of Malden; her husband Edward L. Powers; her daughters, Charlene Perry of Braintree, Lillian Murphy of Duxbury and Loretta Duyette of Manchester, NH.; her brother John Lasquade of Middleborough, MA.; and her grandchildren, Chandrea, Loretta, Danielle, Jimmy, Melissa, Jessica, Andrea, Brianna, Sean, Stacey and Pauline. She was also cherished by ten great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Saint Jude Research Hospital.
