She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving J. Benson and Margaret Benson (Lind); and her husband John E. "Jack" Cherwek. She is survived by: her children, Tracy May (Steven) of Miramar Beach, FL and Mark Cherwek (Charleen); her grandson Joseph M. May; and her great grandchildren, Camille, Fiona and Alessia May.
