He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Michael Shaughnessy (Susan) of Braintree, Lisa Walsh (Ted) of Quincy, Chris Shaughnessy (Jackie) of Quincy, Bill Shaughnessy (Christina) of Halifax, Tricia Taglieri (Larry) of Braintree and Nikki MacKay of Quincy; his grandfather Caitlin Shaughnessy; his sibling William Shaughnessy of Braintree; and also, Joe Shaughnessy, Tom, Teddy, Christina Walsh, Jaimie Shaughnessy, Ryan Shaughnessy, Megan Shaughnessy, Chris, Nicolina, Matt Taglieri, Erin MacKay and Shannon MacKay. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
