It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Valerie Ann Altvater in Braintree, Massachusetts, born in Eastport, Maine, who passed away on January 1, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Christopher Altvater and Rita Altvater (Nicholas); her children, Rhonda Emery, Victoria Altvater and Charles Emery; her brothers, Bruce Francis and Kirk Altvater; and her uncle Lane Nicholas.
She is survived by: her daughter Kelly Altvater of Indian Township; her grandchildren, Oceanna, Seanna, Skye, Felicia, Daryle-Eve, Charles, Margaret, Anastasia, Roxanne and Valerie; and her siblings, Gerarda Longfellow (Dale) of Perry, Judy Cleaves (Clayton) of Pleasant Point, Lisa Altvater Bassett (Edward) of Pleasant Point, Virginia Mitchell of Perry and Christopher Altvater of Perry. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and numerous dear friends.
