He is survived by: his wife Elaine Pimentel (Davin); and his children, Walter V. Pimentel, Jr. of Holbrook, Richard F. Pimentel of Pembroke, Marie E. Murphy of Bradford, Jeannine M. Pimentel of Weymouth and John K. Pimentel of Billerica. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
