He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louis James Willie and Carrie Willie (Sykes); his friend Martin Luther King, Jr.; his wife Mary Sue Willie (Conklin); his children, Sarah Willie-LeBreton (Jonathan LeBreton) of Media, PA, Martin Willie (Jayme) of Denver, CO and James Willie (Susan) of Takoma Park, MD; his grandchildren, Jeremy-Nathaniel Willie LeBreton, Susannah James Willie and Addison Jean Willie; his sister Mary Gauthier of Syracuse, NY; his parents-in-law, Betsy and David Bueschel of Evanston, IL; and his brothers, Louis James Willie II of Alabama, Joseph Rutherford Willie of Texas and Alfred Noble Willie. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews, cousins, and a large and loving extended family.
