He was predeceased by: his sister Mary McKay. He is survived by: his wife Philomena "Phyllis" Danehy (Madden); his children, Francis T. Danehy Jr. (Jane) of Norwood, Lisa Despres (Michael) of Needham, Matthew Danehy (Dana) of Mansfield and Brenda Sople (Ed) of Norwood; and his siblings, John J. Danehy, Anne Sweetnam, Paul Danehy, Sheila O'Hara and Susan Danehy-Merrill. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
