He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, Marjorie, James, Kenneth, Virginia, Kathleen, Robert, Charlotte, Thomas, Dorothy and Margaret; his wife Patricia Ann Smith (Balboni); his children, Francis (Lenore), Kathleen (Nicholas Barker), Leo (Stella), Susan (Richard Powers), Christopher (Lily Mae), Michael, Patricia (Charles Ingersoll), Matthew (Elle Nugent), Kristen Hill, Nora and Stacie (Christopher Capotosto); his grandchildren, Frankie, Loryn, Andrew, Hayley, Emma, Evan Barker, Emmet Powers, Patricia, Warren, Nora, Roan, Genevieve, Charlotte, Cavan Hill and Luca; and his parents, Frank and Pat.
