He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank Stankevicius and Anna Davulis (Stasunas); his wife Ellen; his children, Frank and Karen; his grandchildren, Nicholas A. Bates, Ellie P. Bates and Jackson B. D. Bates; and his brother George A. Stankevicius (Nijole) of Natick.
