He was predeceased by: his spouse Kathleen Donovan (Birmingham); and his sibling Bernard Donovan. He is survived by: his child Frederick M. Donovan, Jr.; his wife Christine (Mowbray) of Chatham; his siblings, Phyllis McCarthy (Donovan) of Brighton, Mary Morra and Rita Mullen; and his grandchildren, Kate Donovan and Emily Donovan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
