She was predeceased by: her husband Jorge Paredes; and her daughter Mercedes Teran. She is survived by: her children, Yomara Vasquez, Brenda Johnson, Georgina Lightfoot, Jaime Paredes, Ana Mounkary and George Paredes. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
