He is survived by: his parent Bela Teixeira of Cabo Verde; and his children, Antonio Teixeira, Iolanda Teixeira, Silvia Teixeira Silva, Carla Teixeira Dos Santos, Carla Teixeira Baptista, Linda Teixeira-Reyes, Eloise Teixeira Drane, Stanley Goncalves, Keith Goncalves, Craig Goncalves, Auxilia Teixeira Mallory and Isabel Teixeira. He is also survived by 49 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, many siblings, nieces and nephews.
