He is survived by : his wife Ana Marie Monteiro (Cabral) of Brockton; his children, Paulo Monteiro of Fall River and Lucia Silveira of Brockton; his siblings, Julio Monteiro of Quincy, Domingo Monteiro of Boston, Afonso Monteiro of Cape Verde, Deafonso Monteiro of Cape Verde, Manuela Monteiro of Cape Verde, Alta Monteiro of Cape Verde and Morgadinha Monteiro of Cape Verde; and his grandchildren, Analia, Kamila and Sanyah.
