She was predeceased by: her spouse Daniel C.; her parent Esebio DaCosta; and her child Valder Chaves. She is survived by: her parent Maria DaCosta (Figueiredo); her children, Valdemar Chaves (Hue) of Bridgewater and Vasco Chaves (Kelli) of Lakeville; and her grandchildren, Valdemar Chaves Jr., Courtney Chaves and Casey Chaves.
