It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan M. (Moar) Schmitz of Brockton, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 30, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Joseph W. Schmitz; her son David J. Schmitz; and her sibling Shirley Hall. She is survived by : her children, Wayne T. (Kathleen Schmitz) of Rockland, Joseph C. Schmitz of Quincy, Kenneth M. (Leona Schmitz) of Brockton, Douglas W. (Debra Schmitz) of Whitman, Brian P. (Jody Schmitz) of Dorchester and Laurie A. Schmitz of Quincy; and her sisters, Elizabeth "Betty" McCaffery and Jean Keegan. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
