She is survived by : her son John Gibau of Brockton; her siblings, Eugenia Andrade (Margarida) of New Bedford, JJ Fernandes of Brazil and Betino Fernandes of Rhode Island; her grandson Avidean; her siblings-in-law, Maria Fernandes of Brockton, Dada Viera of Rhode Island, Boi Fortes of New Bedford and Dedei of New Bedford; her stepdaughters, Ilda Andrade and Zenha Fortes; her nephew George; and her niece Laura Fernandes.
