He was predeceased by: his parent Dorothea. He is survived by: his parent Robert; his spouse Virginia M. Burns (Carney); his child James Burns of Maine; his grandchildren, Shianne Burns, James Burns, Sean Pagliuca and Jayden Burns; his great grandchildren, Jalissa and Jeremiah; and his siblings-in-law, Patricia Mankiewicz of Florida, Thomas Carney of Natick and Barbara Norris of Alabama. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
