He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Egan (Barter); his children, Christine Egan-Bark, Michele McAvoy, April Egan Lenahan and Walter Egan, Jr.; his siblings, Leo Egan, Jr., Jean Walsh, Rose Shulman, Michael Egan, James Egan (Judy), Margaret Fagan, Evelyn Egan, Francis Egan and Paul Egan; and his brother-in-law Thomas Barter (Barbara). He is also survived by several grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
