She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick Sweetland; her siblings, Arthur Neal, Frederick Neal (late Antoinette 'Toni' Neal), Dorothy Hynes, Beatrice Collins and Phyllis McComas; and her siblings' child Thomas Uniacke.

She is survived by: her son Robert T. Sweetland (Silvia Romanelli) of Quincy; her grandchildren, Daniel and Grace Sweetland of Canton; and her sibling's children, Louise Neal, Ronald Hynes (Janice), Robert, Carol Uniacke, Frederick and Kathy Neal. She is also survived by great nephews and great nieces and friends and neighbors.
